Dust cap fittings

I have been given hub caps* - sorry, dust covers - for the Champ, but to fit them need to find the Cleveland 158-00200 Cap Hubs. Spruce have the ring grease seals also required but nothing showing for this part number.

Any (useful) advice welcome.

Many thanks chaps

When you get these things and install them, make sure of clearance with the cotter key and the end of the axle. I have found some old parts that didn't quite fit together like you would expect. jrh

I made a couple for the last Champ project. Just used a .040 2024 disk with a nutplate for the cap and three holes. Then used three bushings and long screws to mount it.

All noted! I'll ask the guru if he could make some.

Many thanks

Classic Aero at 480-650-0883 has these aluminum caps in a Luscombe part number, also baby moon hubcaps.

Thanks for that - I ordered from you last week or so, but forgot to say so here...

They seem to be stuck in British Customs. Hopefully they'll roll their way out soon

I am arriving at the conclusion that the Lusocmbe pn48520 may be the same as the cleveland 158-00200, but I need some help such as an IPC blow-up, expanded parts list or similar reference to be sure.

I have a bunch of them if this is the case.....
