13 gallon wing tank for sale

Post by taylorj2cub »

Would there be any interest in a 13 gal wing tank? I have one in my Champ I will no longer be using, I'm going back to the 65 Hp. Doug Griffin (530) 200-5810

Bet you can sell it easily but sure you do not want to keep it? Sure gives you more options and does not weigh that much as long as you do not keep it full.

I am thinking the same way that Joe is......I would keep it and install it. You do NOT have to put fuel in it unless you need it and when you do need it you will be very gald you kept it. As a plus when it comes time to sell the plane it will be a very positive option for many people.

Leave the tank in--If you sell the airplane and someone wants to put in a 85hp engine you have a selling point. My champ has an 85, but not a wing tank--wish I had one--my old 65 Champ had a wing tank but sold it when I got the 85 Champ. And low and behold the new owners of my old Champ have totaled it already.
