Rope taildragging

Post by Dan1940Chief »

Anyone else use a length of good rope to move the bird around on the ground? I've found it to be the best way to maneuver back into the hangar past the bumps and door supports.

Yeah, I have a loop of rope around the Champ's tailwheel. Its so light, its easy to drag it in its hangar. I made up a tow bar for the Supercub, and use a winch for the Birddog (its quite heavy).
