Service Help and Hints #26

Good Morning Aeronca fans,

We are about to change out our damaged firewall and nosebowl and need to perform the alterations in Service help and hints #26. I am looking for a copy of the drawings S-15 through S-18 and a copy of #26 if anyone has it.

I have already tried aeronca.com and the links don't work. Does anyone have a copy of these they could email to us?

Thanks,

I have a PDF file copy of Service Letter #26. If you send me an email address, I'll email it to you.

If you're using Firefox or some non Microsoft browser, try using IE instead. That's the only way I've been able to open the file links.

Thanks,

That was it! IE7 works where Firefox doesn't

Or an even better browser is Google Chrome.

IE is ok but comes with a lot of crap that is not needed, so is not really one that many of us use often.

More questions on this mod.

Does anyone have any photos of the completed mod or the mod in process? We believe that ours was not done per the drawings, as there are way too many rivets, screws and nuts. My biggest concern now is that the boot cowl mod is not done per the drawings requiring a new boot cowl.

Any help would be appreciated.
