Was reading article on aircraft insurance in a flying publication at the airport the other day. It said....."Be sure and read your policy CAREFULLY, as to what it covers and does NOT cover. For instance, if you attend an airshow or fly in is your aircraft covered?" "Be sure you have exact info on who can fly your aircraft besides your self INCLUDING CFI's and repair station personel." This got me thinking so I called Avemco (been with them 35 years.) Yes I am covered for airshows and fly in's. The agent did say that quite a few are not aware of the parameters of their insurance and some policys allow less then others therefore they are "less expensive" (cheaper). Caveat Emptor. JP
