which weather stripping glue/cement do you use?

Wondering what folks are using to glue the weather stripping to the wing root fairings. Pliobond can be messy and noticible. 3M yellow is also messy and noticible. 3M clear does not seem to hold very well.

One person recommended using DAP Weldwood Contact cement.

A clear would be more forgiving. With my fat fingers, I need all the help I can get.

So, what are ya'll using.

Dennis,
I use Pliobond and Weldwood contact cements from the quart cans. I mask the areas off and brush the cement to both sides, let tack and install, just like the can says to do. I use 3/4" felt on the fairings not that silly rubber U channel. It looks good for about a week and then starts splitting or falling off.

I've started using Poly-Tak and/or Super Seam Cement. Seems to hold okay, and if I put some masking tape down, it can be cleaned up easily and leave a clean line.
