If you are going to be there and want a get together leave a phone number here. I'll be way down in Vintage Camping. Bring beer and ice.

It's in my plans. About a 200 mile trip east for me but unsure whether I'll fly or drive. Mostly depends on the weather.

I plan to go up on the 20th, the Wed before. I will be camping in the north 40. I plan on leaving about Wed or Thursday. Provided the ground is not flooded. I swear, last year there were ducks quacking outside my tent.

I plan to be there, but leaving the Champ at home. I will be flying a Huey UH-1B Navy Seawolf helicopter gunship.

I plan to be there and, if all goes well, I'll fly my Champ, N83729, if I get her done.

It's a long and wonderous flight from Oregon, but I'm only an hour out at Reedsburg getting ready for the Fisk Arrival. See you all there.

Thank you for your service.
I just come to hang out in one of the cleanest and most friendly places in America. Will be camping under the wing down in Vintage.
I've just flown over hundreds and hundreds of miles, some as low as five hundred feet scud running, of clean, well tended, and productive farm land. We are a wealthy and productive country. It's awesome.
It makes me sick to think how hard people work, how much they give, and how little thanks they get, while our government, can't even conduct routine business, while soaking up health care and and retirement benefits that none of us can afford.
Had a few drinks, feel better now, thanks.

I'm leaving for OSH tomorrow morning. Looks like I'll be driving and staying with a friend in his 5th wheel (air conditioned). About a two hundred mile drive for me directly across the state. I was putting the tail feathers on the L16 this afternoon and either a Champ or Chief went by at about 1800 feet msl following hwy 10. I expect headed to OSH. That really made me chomp at the bit to fly over but the weather looks pretty iffy after Tuesday and I don't want to get hung up.

Weather was down right iffie today, and I was nowhere near I-10, but had trouble with a speeding Winebago on I-80. Passed him finally when he stopped for burger.
Except for the low ceilings today it's been a fabulous trip from the Great North West, enjoyed every mile of it.
Darn that guy from Seattle who wants the furthest distance award.

Heading out at 0300 tomorrow in the Chrysler  and plan on staying until Friday. Mike B I know what you mean. I was outside earlier when a champ flew over on a scud run heading that way. Hopefully I'll get the old girl done before the antique fly in at Blakesburg next year.

Beware scud running in the Midwest--those windmill towers are unannounced in some areas.
