It's so hot in the midwest that I had to pre-cool the engine before it would start.

It's in the mid 90's up here (n/w Wisconsin) today too with 70% humidity but remember this??
I checked the density altitude at the airport yesterday and I think it was around 3500', ground is 900 msl.

My plans for next week include leaving the heat soaked south and visit some of my northern friends in Oshkosh for a couple of days where the temps are supposed to be cooler. What are you guys doing up there? Looks like the heat is on up there too.

I've lived in NW Wisconsin for 72 years except for my Air Force days and the temperature in this part of the country can go from 100 degrees in the summer (although we're usually in the 80's) to 40 below in the winter (although a usual winter temperature is around 10 degrees). As my daughter in law from Texas says: " Why do people live up there"? (The answer is unknown

). Anyway, you can expect Oshkosh weather to usually be in the 80's with an occasional cumulus nimbus.
We're actually looking for a winter home in the San Antonio area to stay warm and be close to our only grandkids
