Wow !
What a co-incidence. My Champ turns 65 on the 28th, and I celebrated my 62nd in June. I had hoped to fly the Champ on it's birthday, but I don't think that will happen. We are assembling the engine next weekend, all the cover and paint is done, but that last 10% (as always) will take a long time to complete. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both of you.

Have fun in your celebration. I would join you if you weren't so far away. I turn 65 tomorrow just like your Champ. Be sure it registers for Medicare!!!
My Champ is much younger and won't be 65 until November.

Must be a lot of us in that same boat, except it's my wife that's the same age as my Champ. I'm still a young'n with only my 62nd looming. I'm just thankful that my Champ isn't as hard to start as my wife.
