rebuilding questions

Post by RMASS »

I am in the process of restoring(rebuilding) a 7AC converted to 7BCM. It has been in storage since 95 and covered in 82. full of dirt dauber nest. removed all fabric and have a friend covering it. Got one wing covered and starting on the rest. I installed the Wag Aero 5 gal wing tanks. questions need to remove the door latch handle-drilled out some of the set screw (even tried drill press to drill out remainder not luck) and I assume the handle pulls off after that? best place to buy bulkheads? need 2 stations.
Looks as if head liner was put in before fabric covering -easier- correct?
trim cable went over cabin ribs are they supossed to go thru them?
any help appreciated thanks

Yes, set screw off comes handle, square shaft solid in one handle.

Trim cables go over cabin rib which have wear strips

Headliner first

Bulkheads wagaero or marine plywood and mak your own

Also here under "Restoration" many posts covering all phases of the rebuild
