I have a 1941 Aeronca 65CA that needs to have the fuel tank replaced. I have a parts manual for the 11A Chief that shows a part number 7-511. The drawing appears to be the same tank. This is the first Aeronca I have ever worked on. Can someone tell me if this tank is the one I need? Does anyone have a replacement tank for this airplane? Thank you for your help in this matter.
