Anybody seen one of these before?

Post by Windknot »

I have a photo of an Aeronca employee anniversary pendant that I bought about 6 years ago off of ebay - I only paid a couple of bucks for it, but dont know if it's even "the Aeronca" - does anyone recognize this? It was listed as an Aeronca 15 year pendant (5 years per "diamond") - its about the size of a nickle - it appears to be like a charm on a bracelet - I was going to use it for a key fob for my first airplane......which I still am yet to purchase!!!

Just thought it was nifty and I'd share it with you all

Based on all Bill's years with Aeronca, he should have one with a lot of diamonds on it.

I am apparently not authorized to send PM's - could someone send Bill Pancake a message and have him take a look at this?

Many Thanks,

Bring it to Middletown and am sure you will find out the story about it!

Did you find a plane yet?

No - I've been getting bombarded by so many competing ideas and opinions (admittedly, there all from people that I have solicited for advice) that I've kind of gone into mental overload.

I'm taking a week off from looking (looking HARD that is) and just try and step back and regain my perspective.

Not as much fun as showing my wife a photograph of a different plane every day and saying "I think I should get THIS one"

I've been doing a bit of that myself, between pickups, guns and planes I'm surprised my wife's head hasn't come loose from all of the shaking of it she has been doing. I sometimes wonder why we go out and marry these creatures, knowing that we will need their permisssion for any new toy we want for the rest of our lives? :?:

Or another way to consider it......annoy the hell out of the talking about flying, spend lots of time at the hangar and other guys that fly and then she'll NEVER want to go with us.....that just means more gas that we can carry!!! (My wife's abut 19 gallons worth!!!)
