7EC Operating Manual?

Post by airpixx »

Yipee, i bought a 7EC today and she's a beauty! I was wondering if a operationg manual was evere published for this aircraft? I'm interested in the entry speeds for aerobatics, loops and rolls. Speeds for VY, VX, etc would aslo be helpful.

Thanks, Airpixx / John

7EC or 7ECA? 7EC is a Champ, 7ECA a Citabria. Different planes with different approvals. Which one did you get? Give us a photo. David J./Jasper, GA

It's a 1951 7EC, I don't think there were to many made. I didn't believe Aeronca made a Champ with a full electrical system! When I 1st looked at it I thought the electrics were an add on. It also has a ton of great mods!

John, what you have is a very cool plane. This is in my opinion the high point of the Champ series. Made right before Aeronca quit making complete aircraft. This one is not listed as aerobatic. If you email me(n8926 at earthlink.net), I think I have a scan of a 7EC manual. David J.
