Hi Karen, good to see you guys still working on that airplane!

Most of the people on this group don't know, but Karen & Bill's 15AC was the first Sedan I ever saw. I was working up in the Seattle area in my first job out of school, and Bill Morris & Karen Sandberg (no relation) were meticulously restoring a Sedan in the hangar that my employer shared that building with. For most of a year, every day at lunch I'd walk over to the other side of the building and watch the progress on this airplane as it got stripped down, restored and onto floats.

Nobody ever told me you could build a fishing rod holder into an airplane, and I've always sort of based the airplane that I wanted to restore on what I saw Bill & Karen do over those months. 1241H will surely have a fishing rod holder when I'm done. Somehow.

Karen, I'll be watching your eBay sales, it'd be an honor to have some of your plane in my restoration, 18 years later...

So good to hear from you again Eric. Being retired, our projects all take much longer than they used to. We are working on the Sedan, and also building a cedar strip kayak in our new woodshop. Enjoying traveling in a 5th wheel too. Karen

Getting in late on this thread, did not see it earlier. Guess it would help if I was not out flying so much!

Notice that the nose-bowl did not sell. Looked under the "other items" and nothing else was listed.

Do you still have any Sedan stuff for sale?

Thanks for your interest. The lower cowling is sold. We still have upper cowling, nose bowl and R & L side cowlings. I will relist them and post a link in case others missed the first listing. Karen
