North-Wind skis

A friend has located a set of North-Wind skis, model #AF-750. They were made by Aero Fabricators and came off a cub. He wants to know if he can legally install them on his Champ. They are not listed on the TCDS nor can I find anything on a search. I suggested he call Wag and ask about STC info.
Anyone know anything about the use of the skis on a Champ?
