Wanted to buy: Grimes Model A Tail Light
The top of my rudder post on my 1940 Chief is missing something, a clear Grimes Model "A" nav-light. I know these are getting hard to find, etc.. but maybe some other Aeronca-ian' has one of these he just does not know what to do with. This would mount right in the top of the tail post on a prewar Chief. If I can find one, surely all of the girls would come running when I taxied out on some nice summer day.....

Look on Ebay. There are always grimes lights for sale there. Not sure which style you need but would be surprised if you didnt find the right one.

Yes there does seem to be Grimes model "B" wingtip lights (which I need also) on Ebay from time to time, but I have never, ever seen a tail light model "A". Most likely they do and I just miss it. Actually Spruce had these a while back (read $$$$$) and they might still have one laying around the vault with all of the gold in it.
