prop for O235 C2C conversion

I'm installing a Lyc. O235c2C on my 7EC. I have a chance to buy a McCauley 1A105 SCM 7153. This is the original prop from a Grumman AA1 which is what my engine is from. The STC says to use an "appropriate" prop to the engine so clearly I could use this prop. My question has to do with the pitch which is 53 (repitched from 57). Seller says it produced 2300 static rpm on his Grumman and it was considered a "climb" prop on the Grumman.
How would this perform on my 7EC? Is there a better prop available? Note that this engine has the type 1 flange which is different from the O 235 C1s. Is there a limit on the number of times a prop can be repitched?
