Info Needed

Post by MikeB »

I guess this would fit under "general guidelines'. I need some input and information from any members who might be leasing space on an airport. Our flying club owns the airport (private 3WN9) and we lease the hangar building space to club members at the rate of .12 cents per square foot. It's always been an informal agreement and nothing written except in the club by laws. Some time ago we talked about having a lease agreement between the club and the hangar owner but hasn't happened yet. We do have one member who is consistantly late with his yearly dues which are used to pay taxes and expenses otherwise things run pretty smooth. Do any of you have a lease agreement that you could scan and forward to me? We have our annual meeting this coming Saturday and the situation is on the agenda again.

Thanks, Mike

Hi,

At Warwick, N-72 we have a lease agreement on Tie Down's, Hanger Rent and Hanger Ownership. When I am at the airport I will copy and scan the lease for you. It will be some time next week. We have also come up with some addedums for people that have planes that are not flying do to financial hardship etc.\

At East Hampton, there is a Condominium Assocation and there is a lease that hanger owners need to use if they are renting out their owned hangers. Would you also like a copy of that?

Bob,
What ever you can send me would be fine. We're a pretty small operation: 10 acres, grass runway with about 30 members and 12 hangars. I work as the 'de facto' manager (unpaid) which means I get to cut the grass and clean the portapotty  . We have a real good group that meet on Saturday mornings to fly, talk flying and tell lies so I'd like to correct the situation withou kicking over the beehive.

Verbal suggestions are fine, too.

Thanks,

Mike
