Due to expected rain and thunderstorms on Saturday and rain on Sunday, I MAY be changing the date.

Since the weather people are usually so poor at advanced forecasts, I am going to keep the date of the Fly-In to Saturday May 11th, at this time. If on Friday the weather is still forecasted for rain and thunderstorms on Saturday, I will postpone until Sunday May 19th. Hope to see some of you there.

Unfortunately, this week the weatherman (persons for the politically correct) have been more accurate then usual. The airport has seen heavy rain for the last 3 days that has flooded our park / picnic area as well as made the grain runways barely usuable.

The forecast for tomorrow is rain in the morning and thunderstorms in the afternoon along with winds of 15-25.

Unforunately, the Fly-In does need to be moved to Sunday the 19th of May.

Bob, Sorry, but can't make the 29th. I held off letting you know to not give you a false positive. I'll be working on the Slave crew for our Canyon Pilots Association Fly-In at N38. We'll try again.

Dale, Its tomorrow the 19th not the 29th unless that was a typo that you posted. If you meant the 19th, sorry you can't make it, but I am sure we will meet up somewhere this season. Bob

Radar shows rain between 8B5 (Central MA) and N72. Going to pass on today but thanks for all your effort as yours is a real fun fly-in.
Will be stopping by early July on way to Lexington KY.

Today (the rain date) was a bust and worse than last week. I am going to try to come up with a new date sometime in the summer.

it was a great day to fly, up this way, but now the rain has moved in, id like to come down and visit ya sometime

Hi Tom,

I sell real estate, so I am tied up most weekends. Do you get to fly during the week? Weather permitting, I usually fly on Mondays and Tuesdays. Let me know and maybe we can meet half way some where or come and visit Warwick if you have never been there and we can get lunch.

Glad you got some flying in yesterday. I washed the plane in the rain and let it help me with the rinsing. Need to start on waxing next.
