champ air frame in oklahoma

I just bought a airframe form a guy in Oklahoma. ill be bringing it home to nw iowa in 2 weeks. he has a champ airframe on ebay right now. 7ac or 7fc ? if some one buys this and needs it I can haul it as far I can hall and or store it for a while. Bob

I just looked at it, it is a 7fc airframe. No logs, and no data plate and pretty rough. There are some goodies on it though. If I can make my mind up I may buy it, but I am local. If anyone has any questions they can ask me.

Bob,

I have searched EBay high an low without finding any fuselages or projects that are Champ related. Do you have an item number?

Bob,

Thanks. If you look at the pictures real close you can see the attach point for the landing gear at its forward location. I'm afraid of the excessive rust issues and will have to let this on sit.

Bob,
On top of rust issues there are no logs, and no data plate. It is really just what is left of the parts that has the value. If you got lucky there might be the same amount in parts as he wants for the price of the airframe.

I was just thinking that is some one had a smashed up champ that this may be the away to go. I just hate to see some thing go to waste if some one can use it. iam going down there in the next 2 or 3 weeks to pick up my next project. if he still has it ill check it out. thanks Bob

Looks real good. Front adjustable seat, wide rear seat, hydraulic wheels and brakes,control sockets and sticks,rudder pedals, main landing gear plus a big front wheel :shock: . You should buy it and part it yourself. I have paper work and data and a/w for one to add to it.

ya Jim I think a guy can keep his money togather on this one. but iam doing the home bilt route. and looking for something with more low end. flying the ol 7aca on the weekends and working on the homebilt $$$$ the rest of the week. Bob
