Uploading avatars

Hi, System Administrator,

In order to upload avatars in the control panel you need the following option:

Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to.

This is included as an option on another forum I'm on and the avatars will upload from an off site server with this option.

I use Photo Bucket - a free storage service to store avatars and upload to other forums.

Not having any problem with Avitars, but how do you post a photo in the thread like this one?

Hi, Joe,

I'm having trouble posting an avatar - are there any directions?

I'm going to post a picture posting FAQ file I created on another forum based on this format.

Posting Avitars should be easier than photos. Once you have it small enough to fit, then go to your "profile" page under the NAA banner at the top of this or any of the forum pages.

Click on profile and at the bottom of your profile page there will be the "Avitar control panel." There you should be able to upload an avitar to the program and it will then display on your profile page.

Hi, Joe,

All the avatars shown are on the www.joea.com server - how do we upload to this server?

This is my personal website and its hosting this forum. The NAA did not have enough room on its website to host both the webpage and the forum so I volunteered my server as its just a personal site and did not have much traffic.

You should be able to upload to the server after you sign in. If not then pls email me the avitar and I will do it for you.
