Aileron cables ???

I have some confusion concerning the aileron cables and aileron butt rib brace 2-697. Drawing 7-439 shows the cables routed above the brace. The Wing Frame Assembly Poster shows the cables routed BELOW the brace. To confuse me even more view E-E on wing drawing 7-439 shows the brace fastened to the spar 1-1/2 inches from the edge. The view appears to show the brace 1-1/2 inches from the BOTTOM of the spar with the view drawn UPSIDE DOWN ???? The bevel is shown on the bottom of the drawing.

Can someone set me straight on the routing of the cables and location of the brace on the spar?

Thanks

I know your not going to want to hear this' But I assembled my aircraft before I covered it, struts and all, flying wires, and I ran my control cables, The maintenance manualis not very clear I spoke with Bill Pancake and decited to assemble and measured for recover, I know it's a pain to do this, but in the long run you will be glad you did. especially on the aileron Balance cable, where it routes thru the wing inters the cabin. and goes thru those two fanolic blocks, you will see what I am talking about, be sure to adjust your turn buckles and get the tention, I painted a red stripe on the turn buckle threads let it dry so I knew how far to adjust the turn buckle screw, after the recover, makes it easy so hard to see,and adjust some of those pesky turn buckles, and get the right cable tention. after you cover, Thats what I did, A fellow Aviator Sunny
