Apparently I’ve been caught off base with an out of date parts manual. It looks like Continental revised their C-85—O-200 parts manual a couple of years ago. I’m interested if the later cylinder assemblies for the O-200 went back to 2 valve springs rather than the 3 they were using.
I subscribe to the Service Bulletins but didn’t see anything about this. Additionally it appears that they changed the diameter of the valve stems.
If anyone has the latest revision to the parts manual I’d really appreciate knowing if the latest cylinders have changed the springs and valves.
Thanks
Paul

Re: Late parts manual??
I found the answer---yes indeed Continental changed the valve train in the later O-200 cylinders. 2 springs are now used rather then the 3 previously used.
