National Aeronca Association Bulletin Board

Does anyone have any information of Federal SC-1 skis? The guy that bought my Champ is looking at a pair. Unfamiliar to me but they almost look like Federal 1500's. Not listed in the TC but they might be so old that they didn't worry about such things in those days. I have Fedral 1850's and they are listed.

The SC-1's I have seen are the early version of the 1500's from what I understand (probably wrong). The one's I have sen are very narrow and the tunnel is very boxy/square. Personally I would find A-1500's instead.
