National Aeronca Association Bulletin Board

Hi, I'm looking at buying a 7gc that says it has a float kit but no v brace and i has never been on floats. I'm assuming this means the aircrqaft has the hard points but no v brace. Does anybody know what is involved in putting these planes on floats? Does it need a v brace and if so what does that installation involve. Thanks Adam

Moved this and your other post to the "Aeronca Sea Planes" catagory. They will be able to answer your question a lot better. Most of us land lubbers have no idea about the float plane versions.
