13 gallon wing tank cover questions

Hi All,

I installed two 13 gallon wings tanks (different wings of course).

My plan is to cover the wing and the tank area with ceconite.

I actually have some metal covers for the tanks but prefer not to use at this time.

So I am thinking of saving the covers for possible use at a later time if maintenance is required and wondering about what to do regarding the rib outboard of the tank.

That is how secure the rib so that when the ceconite over the tank is removed that the rib does not bow aboard and cause any fabric slack.

Any thoughts on this?

Anyone ever seen a metal cover installation and could describe it?

I took the covers off when the wing was torn down I think I recall some metal straps going diagonal over the tank tying things together on one wing only. Will have to dig up my pictures.

Thanks, Dave
