rear fuel line routing

I have a 63 7EC with the 13 gal. wing tanks. I didn't disassemble the plane so don't have the benefit of knowing how it was originally routed from the rear fuel pickup to the rear manifold. Specifically, does the line go between the wing root and fuselage (very tight clearance with the aileron pulley) or inside the fuselage (looks like it would be below the headliner).

Thanks to Richard Murray for posting pictures of my tentative routing which appear below.

All help appreciated.

Jeff,
No clearance required to post pics, the server is full though so it won't take anymore. If you want to post pics on the forum you have to host them somewhere then link to them. You can use picasa to put them on the google servers, then link to them. Kind of a pain, but it works.
