Did anyone take pictures of how they trimmed the fabric in the aileron bay Area? This is a pretty busy area in the corners with the aileron bearings and all and I’d really like to see how other people did it.
Thanks

Fabric question
Re: Fabric question
This lpost is 4 years old, I used a break sheer and cut two one inch by four ft aluminum strips. After I applied the fabric before the first shrink,I attached the aluminum strips on the flat where it bends in the Aileron Bay all the way too the ninety degree bend.I attached the screws every 6 inches, then I did the first shrink. I then took Poly tac and coated the aluminum strip, and applied a 2 inch pinked tape over the strip, it’s hard to use an Iron in that area, so I did a no no and used a heat gun, and carefully worked the area. Maybe a better way to do it, was to apply reinforcement tape with screws and washers and cover that with a two inch tape and poly brush. Ithor way it will work and not interfere with the movement of the Ailerion.

Re: Fabric question
I use the Martin clip in the holes at the aileron well. Glue the fabric down and put on the reinforcement tape. Insert the martin clip and apply the finish tape. The edges, I'll cut the fabric to follow the end ribs C/L and top them off with the finish tapes. There is a lot going on there but any way you get it done will work.
