IPC for the Sedan Needed
Hello folks,
I am a new member to the NAA forum, thanks to Richard for getting me setup.
I purchased a 48 Sedan with tail number 1055H and S/N 70 back on December 2nd of 2017. Have roughly 10 hours in it since then. Had a 54 Cessna 170B the 4 years prior but it was destroyed in a Tornado in March of 2017.
Just thought I'd give you a little history before I started asking for stuff.
I am already in need of an IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalog). Is there such a thing for the Sedan, if so do you know where I might get my hands on one?
Thanks for your time.

If you renew your membership for 2 years, you will get a DVD with all the Aeronca Drawings. I have not gone through my DVD yet regarding the Sedan, but will soon as I am now a partner in one on Floats.

Membership to NAA? I wasn't aware there was a membership fee, how would I go about doing that?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Glad you found the link. You don't have to be a member to be on here, but I like to support the sites I use frequently and also the DVD deal is great. ( I am not an owner or moderator of the site, but have learned a lot of things here and hope I have shared some too)

Re: IPC for the Sedan Needed
Hello Dennis, I am based out of a grass strip about 5 miles SE of Jasper, AR, not charted. I agree that Mt. View is way back in the stick as well but we have out fair share of hills over this way as well. Not a single stop light in the whole county.
Had a friend that got his training over in Mt. View a couple years back, would drive over there from just outside Marshall.
Well you didn't have to drive far into Arkansas to far see that little lady. That be some flat country down here...So flat I might not be able to figure out how to get the plane on the ground.
Re: IPC for the Sedan Needed
Well, you got me beat on the traffic lights. We had two installed in recent years. Do you have to deal with elk on your strip?
Several years ago, I met an older guy from Marshall who received training over here from E A Wallace. I think he had an Ercoupe, not sure. Stop by if you get a chance.

Surprisingly we haven't had to deal with Elk as of yet but deer sure seem to enjoy our runways.
Whenever or if ever, I get things line out with my plane I'll come over. Not sure you have private messages on this forum but if so maybe send me our info and I'll let you know before I come.
Joe and Richard,
Thank you very much for your efforts to help me. Much appreciated.

Justin,
Yes, there is Private message capability here. If you just happen to be in the area and want to stop, my hanger is about halfway down the strip.

Howdy, and congrats on buying a really nice airplane! I'm in the process of purchasing a Sedan, taking delivery in the next 5-7 days.AR_Hillbilly wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2018 11:10 Hello folks,
