Casa Grande fly in

Post by Jim McCartney »

Hello, anyone from the Pacific northwest going to the Casa Grande fly in? I`m thinking of flying my Champ there and would enjoy some other planes to fly down with me. Thanx, Jim

Jim,
I can't make it down this year. But after I get retired from UAL plan to be there next year.
If you fly down the SF Bay area we are at San Martin,CA airport.

Thanks Paul, not sure if I`m going down the west side of the mountains or the east side. It depends on the weather.. If ends up being the west side I`ll try and make a point of stopping by.

Jim,

One of the folks helping put on the fly-in just found out yesterday that his Brother is flying a Ercoupe from Oregon down here to Cactus in two weeks.

He is planning on taking two days for the flight and the two of you might hook up somewhere enroute...

Let me know if you want more info.

Thanks Joe, Leaving two days before the fly in is just right. However, looking at the long range forecast, it looks a little suspect. I`ll wait for awhile before I make my decision. I would like his information, so as to coordinate. Thank you, very much. Jim
