1939 Aeronca Chief 50C N22371

Airframe and engine total time 2370 hours;

Engine since major overhaul 314 hours, Engine since top overhaul 260 hour

Aircraft rebuilt and recovered April 1986;
Fabric restoration with ceconite in 1989.
Records lost prior to 1986 but reconstructed.

Aircraft is fully operational and recent annual - Jan 2019.

It needs some cosmetic attention (see photos.)

Original motor- rebuilt. Original instrument panel. Hand prop- wooden Sensenich propeller.

Owner since 1987, Terry Brandt, is now deceased. Plane is hangared in Goodyear, AZ.

The executrix has been encouraged to hold firm on the price of $14,000 by more than one aeroncateer.

We can even find someone to ferry it for you for a reasonable fee. (it would be a sin to take it apart and trailer it when it can fly)

LAST CALL - Executrix lowered price to $10,000

This must be sold to settle the Estate.

This is a flying aircraft ready to be relocated. If you need it ferried PM me and I or someone will help you.

The only issue I have identified is missing logs prior to its restoration in 1989 and its been through countless annual inspections since then. If logs are lost times can be established and a new set of logs continued. Such is the case here.
