I'm looking for some replacement cowling fasteners for a 1948 Sedan, I am not having much luck searching the usual spots.
Any help would appreciated.
Thanks.

Have you given Bill Pancake a call? The guys up at the shop at the Argyle Airport in Argyle, New York have rebuild a few Sedan's. You might want to give them a call too.

Bob,
Thank you for the reply.
The way you said that I am thinking I should know who Bill Pancake is but I am afraid to say I don't or maybe I did and I have forgotten.
Could you provide any details around his contact options?
I will give the folks at the Argyle shop a lookup and see if I can reach them..
Thanks again.

Sorry, I just assumed you knew who Bill is,
Every Aeronca owner should have Bill Pancakes number in his or her speed dial. Bill has forgotten more about Aeronca's than I will ever know and Bill has a super memory. In most Aeronca Owners opinion, Bill is the definitive expert on all things Aeronca.
Bill loves to talk airplanes. Give him a call 304 to start then 788 and finish with 1974. If you do not get an answer, let it ring 8 times and leave a message. You will get a call back.
You can also E-mail him, but calling is best, unless he is off to another part of the country.

Hope you can find your parts. I am in a partnership on a Sedan and know how hard it can be to find parts. A lot less availability than for Champs and even Chiefs.
