Need left wing for 11CC

I'm looking for a left wing for my 11CC (my spar is delaminating).

I may be interested in buying a pair of wings also (in case you don't want to break up a set).

Are there any projects out there that someone is trying to part out?

I'd also be interested in getting my hands on a pair of spars.

thanks,

Gord

Gord,
When I last had contact with Wag Aero they had some spars and on the other Aeronca site (www.aeronca.org) they had a notice on their home page that spars would be available from Wag Aero in "about' February.

Wag quoted me a price of somewhere around $550 for each depending on which spar you needed (front or rear). I don't know of another source at this time, although I believe Rainbow in Washington (?) was advertising them at one time.

Gord,

You know that you do not need a wing for just a 11CC I hope. The wings for the Aeronca Champ as well as every post war Chief are the same unit.

Pre-war and wartime wings are not the same, but otherwise both the Chief and Champ wings, tailfeathers, landing gear and so on are the same parts. This opens up your search range a bit.

Gord,
I,ve got 4 rebuilt wings in the hangar. They have new spars installed. This would have to be an exchange basis. as I have projects for the wings. I,m in CA, San Francisco bay area. And I will not ship.

I need a left wing. How much $ would you want. I have a solid exchange wing (except the forward spar which needs to be replaced).

Paul,

You are talking about $4k for both wings I am assuming?

Just trying to get an idea of what wings are worth these days. I was thinking of building up an extra set myself.

That price would be each. At first it seems high but it breaks down to about $1500.00 in parts and 130hrs labor.
