Chris, I am working on a jig myself. Been working too hard to make much progress. I do not know of anyone on the east coast besides the factory in WI. I got to go up and see the orignial jig a few years ago. My understanding is all 7 series are built on the same jig from way back. 8 Series also, the tail for 8KCAB's has a different incidence angle. The tails are built on another jig and assembled to the frame in the big jig. I will not be done in time to help anyone with a project now. I have a Citabria frame with NDH to use as a pattern. It is a good straight flying plane. I got tired of always patching frames back together. Three dimensions are hard to measure with a tape. Then when you weld it moves all over the place. I wanted a way to make them as close as possible. Hopefully when/if I get to retire or slow down I can help everyone with this problem. I am in North Georgia. My jig will be at least as heavy as the factory one. I want to build a completely new frame sometime, like Bill P. did a few years ago. Do you have the prints? The Aeronca Drawing project has them if you need them. Good luck with your project. David Johnson
