We are rebuilding a 1946 Aeronca Chief, 65 HP, and are putting in a King KY-97a transceiver running on battery. What type of resistor spark plug does anyone suggest we use to reduce static?

Nathan: Can guy here. Not sure either plug is a resistor plug and will only successfully work with( shielding )for radios.

Before you believe anything I say, check with two more people. If they agree, I must be right.

Mark,
Thanks and this forum is an excellent source of information. You might also try the fAA (Fearless Aeronca Aviators) for Aeronca info. Its an email list instead of a forum like this and at times a lot of emails, but good people and if you have a problem or question, help is always available.
