I'm anticipating putting my 90 horse Champ on skis this winter and obviously won't be able to use W100 like I do in the summer. I have a case of 10 year old 15W50 under the bench and am wondering if it's still any good? Obviously at the very least it'll need a good shaking.

I installed new silicone gaskets from realgaskets.com along with brand new screws on my C90 and she runs perfectly dry. The torque is important as over-torquing will make them leak.

Does anybody have a copy of Federal installation drawing 11R241 for the Federal 1500 skis for a Champ? I've got an old set of 1500's and I'd like to do a little skiing this winter.

Thanks David. I just ordered a copy of the DVD and made a donation. I don't know how the existence of that DVD got by me... Is that drawing (7-439) scalable? I'm guessing that if I start with a known dimension that I can measure the rib spacing off of it.

Thanks Joe - trouble is I don't know what that drawing number is. I was hoping the dimensions would be on the wing drawing in the Service manual, but they aren't. I'll see what I can find though. Thanks!

Does anyone have a set of wing drawings with, or can point me to a source for the accurate placement of the ribs? We're rebuilding a set of 7AC wings with brand new spars, and I don't trust the old, homemade ones for the location of the ribs. The compression members and drag wire locations looked ok...
