Champ Paperwork Available

Post by Brian »

I bought a basket case Champ that has absolutely no good parts left on it. Everything is rusted beyond repair. What is the paperwork worth to someone who has a project but no documentation? I no longer need this paperwork and it would be nice if I could help someone get their project in the air.

Have seen prices from $250 to $1000 depending on how badly someone wanted it. Have heard of Cub paperwork going for up to $2500.

I would start at $250 and go from there.

Champ paperwork

I saw a set of Champ paperwork go for $1500 this past fall. The buyer had been looking for paperwork for over 2 years and was tickled to bits to get it. Of course, everything was clean and clear with airworthyness, dataplate, and log books - of a sort! And of course, a clean title search!

Looking for a Champ with elec starter. Does not have to be Sport Pilot ready. My friend is looking hard. I have a champ and he is trying to find one so we can fly together to Sun-n-Fun. Email me at N184FN@aol.com [/b]

Thanks for all the advise and information. I put the paperwork for sale on Barnstormers and it sold very quickly. The gentleman who bought it should have his Champ in the air by summer.
