I changed my mind days after posting this below, but forgot to remove it,...sorry for any inconvience.
Spars are done & wings are coming along nicely.
Long explanation but, as for the "Owner Produced" Sitka Spruce Spars from a local Specialty Lumber co.,
...I changed direction (with respect to the Spars)
and went with Aircraft Spruce (beautiful lumber).
At $400. I cut my losses, chaulked it up to expeirence and moved on,
...it was a good move! Jim
