Hi,
A friend of mine has a Chief with a cracked fuel tank. He is looking to buy a replacement tank.
I have searched Univair's and Wag-Aero's websites without any luck.
Please could someone with access to an 11AC service manual look up the p/n for me?
Also, would anyone have a serviceable tank for sale or know where to buy a new one??

I do not know of anyone making new tanks for the Chief, nor do I know of any used ones for sale but there should be some out there.
John Rodkey on the fAA list had a problem with his a couple of years ago and just had it cleaned up and welded again and its doing fine.

Hi Joe,
I hope you are doing well and having fun.
I wanted to avoid having to tear apart the front end of the airplane, so I glued a patch of aluminum foil over the hairline crack today. Hopefully, that will do the trick.
I hope to hear from you if your travels bring you over to these parts.
