Sold my Champ

Post by Jon B. »

She's all gone. I sold my half to the guy who owned the other half.

Thus far in 2008, I've put something like 16 hours on the tach. Seven of those hours were one trip to the Canadian border in March.

The first 12 months after restoration, I flew her 90 hours! The next 12 months, I think it was 40. The past twelve? Maybe 25-30. Or fewer.

I'll miss her. Lee - the owner - will keep me on the insurance policy in case I need a 'fix'. He also wants to to be his "coach" for ski flying when winter comes. '57B has a set of Aero M2000s awaiting some serious snow. They sat in the garage all of last winter.

Jon,

Sorry to see this happen but get a few hours ever so often to keep current.

Is Lee on the bulletin board? If not pls direct him here!
