Every time I see or hear about someone building a Glasair or Lancair the first thing that goes through my mind is. I bet this guy flys about 10 hours a year, now he believes he is proficient enough to fly that "fast glass" when he's done building it!
There are too many people who can afford more airplane than they have skills to fly it. JFK Jr. and that Baseball player that ate a Building i YC are two examples that come to mine as well as Doctor's etc. Just because you can afford a Bonanza, Mooney or Cirrus, doesn't mean you have the skills to fly them.
