Connecting rod A series
My A-50 has early rods (#5315) except for one C-85 rod (A35160) Believe early 65 rod would work...nuts are on cap side...I need an early one, do you need an 85 rod? -Bob Greenwall

Bob,
I pulled out the A50 stuff. I have an early rod from a dry sump engine but it is missing the cap. The beam is cast with the number 5103. It should only be used in the A50-1,-2,-3 and has the bolt in the rod and nut on the cap. I also have a set of the later rods. They are cast with 5104 in the beam. I believe they are p/n A35158, which are late A50 and early A65.
If this will help let me know.
Now you realize that these parts will only work in Aeroncas.
