is it possible to convert a tri traveller to tailwheel configuration?

Why do it? There only a handful of these out there. If you want a tail dragger buy one, or sell your tri-traveler and buy a champ.

yes it's possible and legal call champion aircraft for info. had one and know of another. it's more complicated than just turning the main gear around and the geometry never comes out right. suggest you keep it/sell it/buy/trade for a 7ec you would be better off. bernie

Most all of the undercarriage tubing is different.
(Requiring a lot of work in addition to getting a hold of a lot of info)

I support the 'leave it how it is' concept. Anything is posible with time and money, but you might be happier leaving yours 'rare' and buying the 'common.' :wink:
