Copper fuel lines

Post by flyingfool »

Just wondering if the copper fuel lines in my chief are special aviation grade copper lines or just the average ACE Hardware store 3/8" soft copper line?

Reason I ask is that if/when I remove my aux tank in my chief to clean it or replace it with another debris free tank. I may as well replace the fuel line from the tank at least to the sump drain if not the aux fuel valve.

Thanks,

It's standard annealed copper lines. Any good hardware store should carry them.
