Can EDO 1650's be used on a 7CCM??

Anybody have any info--I know they are not on the type certificate, but was wondering if anyone had any info.

I called Kenmore and they did not know. They said they had them on 7ECA, 7KCAB, and 7GCAA, but not sure other than that.

Boy, if Kenmore did not know would not have any idea where to go from there. Hopefully someone on this board will be able to help.

If you can find the current owner of N2398E thru the FAA, he might be able to help with a 337 or other info. Or get the CD for this CCM from the FAA. 98E was our Champ back in the late 60's and had Edo 1650's.

Are you looking for a set of floats or already have them? I MAY know of a set of 1320or 1400's that MIGHT be coming up for sale.

Keith, we are looking for a set, and there is a set of 1650's with champ rigging nearby. We would like to find a set of 1400's with champ rigging, hopefully within a day or two's drive. If you know of a set, I would love to hear about them.

It seems like finding a set with rigging is not real easy, and we are not real interested in going thru the headache of buying a set, then trying to find all the pieces. (I am going thru that process with flilite hydraulic skis on our C-180

)

I know of a set that might be for sale in MN. I am not sure if they are 1320' or 1400's. They were on a Champ last summer. The plane has since been damaged while on skis. I think the owner is selling the floats. I will contact him and see what he wants and if he is selling.
