Robert,

Have you or your IA submitted this yet to the FSDO for approval? If not, pls email me directly about this.

Del & Terry

Have other one of you gotten any approval yet from the Feds on the Odyssey battery installation? I am about ready to write up a 337 for submittal and I am looking for anything I can reference for supporting data.

Regards

Robert,

I'm getting ready to finish mine up. I'm hoping that in the next couple of weeks I'll have it done. My IA is going to contact the FSDO guy in the next few days and double-check that what we've done is the way that he wants it.
As soon as I get it flying, I'll let you know!

I know the floor boards were bolted down from day one, but what thoughts are out there about not bolting them down? I know everyone wants me to get a checkup from the neckup, but think about it, where are they gonna go? The seats ad the feets and pedals and springs keep them down pretty good. Any horror stories out there about the floor boards coming up and blocking the flight controls or going out the window?

They tend to vibrate a fair amount when the bolts are removed... But Im not worried about them falling out. 8)

I dropped something that fell between the floor and the side-panel, so I had to remove the bolts/screws holding the floor down in front, and could never get them started again. Its been that way for about a year now. Saving weight ! :D
