anyone gone the (fiberglass) Nose Bowl "route" from Wag Aero?
Are they much thicker or weigh more?
Pros or Cons?

Fiber Glass Nose Bowl
I have one and I think they weight a little bit more than the metal nose bowl. And I have some cracks in mine. I think if you run a wood prop you may reduce the chances of cracking due to the harmonic damping of the wood. Metal props are like a tuning fork.
If you have the extra money I would buy a metal one. But in time they too will develop cracks in them as well. They just can handle all that power that come from a Continental. Remember..."Powerful as the nation"

I have one. Can't comment on weight - no cracks in 24 years (also no dings or dents)
- wood prop.
