TKM MX11 Comm radio repair?

Hey guys, I messed up the squelch dial on a TKM MX11 Comm radio. It just clicks and won't squelch the radio.

Any suggestions on where to get it repaired?

If it is the type I am thinking they are made in the Phoenix area nad sending it to them with the problem and they will repair it for a set price.

I had 2 TKM radios in my 182 when I bought--their email address then was TKMRADIOS@aol.com Try it and if you can't get them I will look up the address and the rest of the info.

They are slip in replacement radios for KX-170B's, Narco's and the like.

They were good radios -- the repair service was good if needed.

I replaced them with a complete King stack as the other radios, adf, dme and transponder were old stuff. Didn't have trouble selling one. Still have one that has built in COMM/VOR/ILS/GS.

Darn, that seems high. I had mine repaired a couple of years ago and I thought it was $125 flat rate repair. If I can find the bill I'll let you know. It was in Scottsdale and I picked it up personally.

If you can get a new one for $475, then do it. Just looked on Ebay and they are going in the $6-900 range.

If you decide to off the old one I would love to have it for parts. I like working on radios and am always needing bone yard parts.
