Christmas Wish
Christmas Wish
Another fun question. If you could make any upgrade/improvement with no regards to cost, what would it be? Champ drivers feel free to chime in also!

Re: Christmas Wish
A Don's Dream Machines 85/200 and Cleveland wheels with hydraulic toe brakes....and maybe a new Garmin Aera.

Re: Christmas Wish
If I had a Chief/Champ, agree with Rick above.
As I fly a Sedan, would take a new Garmin GPS, O-360 200 hp Continental, new metal fuel tanks (with a bit extra reserve built in), bigger wheels and tires, (possibly the 8.50's) and a set of amphib-floats on the side.

Re: Christmas Wish
Enough money to get the 0200 overhauled on my L16 project. Also, as long as Santa is listening (I've been good Santa
) new lift struts, propeller and an exhaust system. That should about get me in the air with Rudolph.

Re: Christmas Wish
After hearing the forecast for the next two days, I want to add a set of Trick Air wheel skis to my list!

Re: Christmas Wish
Yup! Looks like a nasty storm coming. They're saying blizzard with high winds just south of us. With my GY brakes I've kind of given up putting skis on for the past couple of years. Depends on how long the winter gets.

Yep to the above but as long as it's a WISH list, I'd also add 6" to the cabin width.Rick Hadley wrote:A Don's Dream Machines 85/200 and Cleveland wheels with hydraulic toe brakes....and maybe a new Garmin Aera.
Then again being a wish list, I'd just turn my Chief into a Sedan

Re: Christmas Wish
Well, I have a Champ so I'll chime in....on the low end and not being too greedy.....I would love an STC'd set of Cleveland Hydraulic brakes to handle the stopping with my BushWheels!!
One the highend.....trading the Champ for a new SuperSport Cub.
Up here in the north country that thing would suit me just fine.

Re: Christmas Wish
Right now, I'm thinking C-85 or one of Don's 85/200s. It'd be nice to actually CLIMB in the summertime.

Re: Christmas Wish
Right now it would be for slick mags and harness and maybe new metal spar Millman wings and a recover.
Re: Christmas Wish
My wish is for a sky-tech or B&C starter..Hand propping on floats sucks!! Does anyone know or has heard where one could get a used starter? I just can't due the new starter price.
Re: Christmas Wish
Boris,
There is a used/reconditioned starter on Ebay right now.
