Just found out that Don Jones, a long time Aeronca person has the correct "Middletown" Aeronca Data-Tags for sale on Ebay. Many of them being sold these days say "Lunken" on them and they are not correct for the post-war airplanes.

Great guy and will let you return anything for any reason. Over the last few years he has made copies of data tags for airframe & engine but is this legal? I though that the manufacture is the only one that can issue a new or replacement data tag. Also have seen that his prices are slowly going up but still great stuff.
